Real Dye T-Shirt Bracelets

Using Rit Dye in Scarlet, I mixed the dye up following the instructions in a bowl and added boiling hot water.  I dipped the strips of T-Shirt into the solution for 3 hours half way up after I braided it tightly.  For the last 1 hour I soaked everything to get the ombre effect.

I rinsed everything off until the water ran clear and dried them in the drier.  I unbraided the strands then rebraided it up for a cool Tie Dye Ombre effect pictured above.  I'll be connecting them together with a spare piece like I did here later on and posting the finished product this weekend.
