Weekend Project Completed - Wrapped Bangles

I didn't have the mental frame of mind to do the beaded bangles so I went through my craft basket and some inspiration found me.

Supplies - Plain Bangle from Michael's ($1.50), DNC Floss in 3 colors (3@0.33 each), and Tacky Glue ($1.49).  Total $3.98 minus 25% off coupon so $2.99 a piece.  The smaller bangle was from a yard sale that cost $0.50 but was tarnishing.

  1. Step 1 - Cut 5 yards of each of the 3 DNC Floss.  It's easier to work with less floss than trying to work with all of it at once.  I found 5 yards to be just enough to do about half the bangle.
  2. Step 2 - Glue to the inside of the bangle using the Tacky Glue
  3. Step 3 - Wrap and wrap and wrap until there isn't any more floss to wrap.  I alternated patterns so it wasn't all the same.  When you run out of floss, cut more, glue it on the inside, and wrap.
  4. Step 4 - Wear and enjoy!
